*Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the use of Merchant 1948 care products on other brand’s shoes. Please refrain from using Merchant 1948 care products on shoes made by other brands. Merchant 1948 cannot be held liable for the results produced by using our care products on other branded shoes. If you purchase our care products online, please note that they are non-refundable. 

 

Gift Cards

*Gift cards cannot be purchased in conjunction with any promotions or sales. Any items can be purchased with gift card online or in store. Any items purchased with a gift card that are returned for a refund will be refunded onto gift card. Afterpay cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Please chose wisely, Gift Cards cannot be returned, redeemed or exchanged for cash.

Sole Rewards Terms and Conditions  

Definitions: 

“Merchant 1948” means owned and operated by Overland Group New Zealand Ltd, trading and referred to as “Merchant”, “we”, “us”.  
“Rewards” refers to Sole Rewards or other benefits given to members as a consequence of purchasing behaviours, incentives and/or promotions.  
“Membership” refers to Sole Rewards membership account.  
“Email” refers to the email you provided to us, used for Sole Rewards Programme communication purposes.  
“Tier Entry” refers to the date of entering a Sole Rewards Tier.  
“Terms” refers to the Terms and Conditions of Sole Rewards Loyalty Programme.  
“Loyalty Spend” refers to the accumulated amount spent in the span of 12 months to qualify for Sole Rewards Tier Entry.  
 
General:  

1 By joining Merchant Sole Rewards, you agree to the terms and conditions below which may be updated from time to time. We reserve the right to modify, refuse or terminate a member’s account without prior notice. We recommend that you check the terms and conditions regularly. If you do not wish to accept any changes made, please contact us at merchantinfo@overlandfootwear.co.nz and we will close your membership for you. If you continue to participate in the Sole Rewards programme after the Terms have been changed, you are deemed to have accepted those changes. 

2. If a Loyalty Reward is permitted to stack with an in-store promotion, the Loyalty Reward will always be applied first before the promo. 

3. Merchant may collect personal information from members for the purpose of facilitating the Sole Rewards Loyalty programme. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Merchant’s Privacy Policy.   

4. Email address that you provide to us will be used to update you with Sole Rewards benefits, latest deals, news, updates or any other relevant information. 
5. Merchant will not be liable for any member Email that is misdirected, lost or not received.   

6. Sole Rewards Membership and Rewards are not transferable between New Zealand and Australia.  
 
Joining Sole Rewards: 

7. Complete the Sole Rewards registration steps online or in-store. If you have registered for a Sole Rewards account in-store, you must also activate your online account in order to shop online and accumulate Loyalty Spend.  

8. You must ensure that all information you provide to us are (is) correct and kept up to date.  
 
Sole Rewards Membership: 

9. All memberships are valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry. 

10. If you enter a new Tier within 12 months, your membership will be extended for another 12 months upon date of entering new Tier. Your Membership Anniversary will count from the start of your new Tier Entry. 

11. All Membership Rewards can be used at any Merchant retailers, both in-store and on Merchant’s website, unless stated otherwise. 

12. Each Membership Reward may only be used once and cannot be used as a layby payment.

13. Only one Membership Reward can be redeemed per transaction and is not valid with any other offers.

14. Membership Rewards are applied to Full Priced items only unless stated otherwise.

15. You may not have more than one Sole Rewards Membership and you may not transfer your Membership account or Rewards to another person. 

Sole Rewards Member Tier: 

16. To qualify for Sole Rewards Member Tier you must spend between $0 - $199 within 12 months.

17. You are eligible to receive Free Shipping as a Sole Reward member. 
 
18. A $10 Sign Up Voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry and may be used on Full Priced footwear and bags only.  
 
19. If you move up a tier at any point during the 12-month period:  
Unused Rewards from your Member Tier will continue to remain valid for a duration of 12 months from the date of receiving Rewards, unless stated otherwise. New Rewards will be rewarded in accordance with your new tier and will be valid for a duration of 12 months from date of issue, unless stated otherwise. 
 
Sole Rewards Insider Tier: 

20. To qualify for Sole Rewards Insider Tier you must spend between $200 - $399 within 12 months. 
 
21. You are eligible to receive Free Shipping as a Sole Reward Insider. 
 
22. A $30 Tier Entry Voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry and may be used on Full Priced footwear and bags only.  
 
23. A $20 Birthday Voucher will be rewarded 2 weeks prior to the Birth Date provided by you, and will remain valid for another 4 weeks after Birth Date – the voucher will be valid for a total of 6 weeks. If a Birth Date has not been provided to us, unfortunately a Birthday Voucher will not be issued and cannot be claimed. Full priced items only.
 
24. A 15% Off One Transaction Voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry and may be used on Full Priced items only. 
 
25. If you move up a tier at any point during the 12-month period:  
Unused Rewards from your Insider Tier will continue to remain valid for a duration of 12 months from date of receiving Rewards, unless stated otherwise. New Rewards will be rewarded in accordance with your new tier and will be valid for a duration of 12 months from date of issue, unless stated otherwise. 
 
26. You are eligible for Discretionary Discounts. Discretionary Discounts will be offered and communicated through email at any time.  
 
27. You are eligible for Early Sale Access at Merchant’s discretion. 
 
Sole Rewards Ambassador Tier: 
 
28. To qualify for Sole Rewards Ambassador Tier you must spend between $400 - $799 within 12 months. 
 
29. You are eligible to receive Free Shipping as a Sole Reward Ambassador. 
 
30. A $50 Tier Entry Voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry and may be used on Full priced items only. 
 
31. A $25 Birthday Voucher will be rewarded 2 weeks prior to the Birth Date provided by you, and will remain valid for another 4 weeks after Birth Date – the voucher will be valid for a total of 6 weeks. If a Birth Date has not been provided to us, unfortunately a Birthday Voucher will not be issued and cannot be claimed. Full priced items only.
 
32. A 25% Off One Transaction Voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry and may be used on Full priced items only. 
 
33. If you move up a tier at any point during the 12-month period:  
Unused Rewards from your Ambassador Tier will continue to remain valid for a duration of 12 months from date of receiving Rewards, unless stated otherwise. New Rewards will be rewarded in accordance with your new tier and will be valid for a duration of 12 months. 
 
34. You are eligible for Discretionary Discounts. Discretionary Discounts will be offered and communicated through email at any time.  
 
35. You are eligible for Early Sale Access at Merchant’s discretion. 
 
36. You are eligible for Surprise and Delight at Merchant’s discretion.  
 
Sole Rewards VIP Tier: 
 
37. To qualify for Sole Rewards VIP Tier you must spend $800 and above within 12 months. 

38. You are eligible to receive Free Shipping as a Sole Reward VIP. 
 
39. A $75 Tier Entry Voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry and may be used on Full priced items only.  
 
40. A $50 Birthday Voucher will be rewarded 2 weeks prior to the Birth Date provided by you, and will remain valid for another 4 weeks after Birth Date – the voucher will be valid for a total of 6 weeks. If a Birth Date has not been provided to us, unfortunately a Birthday Voucher will not be issued and cannot be claimed. Full priced items only.
 
41. A 30% Off One Transaction Voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry and may be used on Full Priced items only. 
 
42. If you move up a tier at any point during the 12-month period:  
Unused Rewards from your Ambassador Tier will continue to remain valid for a duration of 12 months from date of receiving Rewards, unless stated otherwise. New Rewards will be rewarded in accordance with your new tier and will be valid for a duration of 12 months  
 
43. You are eligible for Discretionary Discounts. Discretionary Discounts will be offered and communicated through email at any time.  
 
44. You are eligible for Early Sale Access at Merchant’s discretion. 
 
45. You are eligible for Surprise and Delight at Merchant’s discretion.  
 
46. You are eligible for 1 x Care Product of your choice, valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry. Care Product can be redeemed in store without purchase or online with any purchase. 
 
47. You are eligible for 2 x Service Discounts at 50%, valid for 12 months from date of Tier Entry.

Returns and exchange:  
 
48. Rewards will not be reinstated against returned purchases. 
 
49. If a reward has been used and the purchase is exchanged for a higher price, the value difference payable will not be discounted.  
 
Rewards Exclusions:  
 
50. Excludes purchases of gift cards and items under care products.  
 
51. Excludes outlet stores.
